Mission Statement
mizea.org is a publishing body aimed at preserving and disseminating cultural and historical patrimony found in Haiti and its diaspora.
What are museums?
mizea.org considers museums to be “any accessible physical or virtual space where the protection and dissemination of tangible and intangible heritage is intentionally carried out by a community on behalf of current and future generations.” Included in its mission however, are other organizations that systematically aid in this process, such as private galleries or collections.
