Our vision at PRODEV : education of youth as its fundamental approach

480 It is necessary to restore the fundamentals of the Nation by reinventing and upgrading human resources and material present in order to improve the living conditions of the population. To achieve these objectives, PRODEV has chosen education of youth as its fundamental approach.

In Haiti, 70% of the population is under 30 years of age, 50% under the age of 21. These youths crave for more effective educational opportunities that will promise a better future.

EDUCATION has always been a major challenge in the development of the Haitian nation. In 2006, Haiti counted a 60% illiteracy rate. The state never fulfilled its responsibility to provide quality education to its people.

What Haiti needs today is long-term commitment from visionary local and international institutions. Investing in Education in Haiti is investing in its Future, but this can’t be done efficiently with isolated actions.

Our MISSION is to provide the management, expertise, curriculum and vision in order to create and sustain a High Standard Network of Schools across the country.
