Samantha Colas - Miss Haiti Universe 2018

Samantha Colas (born 1993) is a Haitian beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Haiti 2018 on July 6, 2018. She will now represent Haiti at Miss Universe 2018 pageant.

Colas attended Universite Notre Dame d’Haiti. She is well known as Social Communicator in Haiti.

On July 6, Colas was crowned as Miss Haiti 2018 at the Marriott Hotel. She succeeded outgoing Miss Haiti 2017 Cassandra Chery. As Miss Haiti, Colas will now represent Haiti at Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.

Samantha Colas is moving down to the final stretch

The Miss Universe final is taking place today. On sunday night, the applicants are going to cross the final stretch of the competition. Only one of the 95 young women will be crowned Miss Universe 2018 and succeed to the south African Demi-Leigh nel-Peters, the 2017 Miss Universe. Samantha Colas, who represents Haiti this year, says she is ready to take this final step.

Since her victory in Miss Haiti, Samantha keep generating feedback and commentaries on her participation in the contest. After participating in Miss Globalcity in China in october, the 26-year-old lady is now proudly representing her country in Thailand. The successor of Cassandra Chéry, doesn't let herself caught up by the many unpleasant remarks made against her.

With a degree in Communication from Faculté des Lettres et Des Sciences Humaines de l’UNDH, Samantha Colas has been the host of Soleil d’été, a children’s TV program, for the past ten years. Admired since her early childhood by the former director of Radio-Télé Soleil Mgr. Desinor John, she made her debut in media on the radio with the "Dimanche Louange" program. Her voice was sometimes heard on the show « Pawòl timoun, pawòl pou timoun », as well, every saturday on 105.7 FM.

It is with enthusiasm the young girl took part in the various preliminary activities at the Miss Univers. She has makes some friends, enjoys herself without taking her eyes away from her goals, and from the crown. The young lady was recently seen and appreciated in her sunny national costume filed with fire. For the preliminaries that took place on Wednesday, December 13rd, Samantha gave the best of herself. Whether it was in her presentation or the bikini parade, where she was wearing a nice two blue pieces, she went above and beyond.

December 16th, 2018 is the day D. Five applicants per continent will be selected for the top 20. Asia and Africa merging in one. Samantha, who is currently in rehearsal for the 16th, has so far had a good presentation. Let Us remain positive for the future.

Miss Univers : Samantha Colas en route vers la dernière ligne droite

La finale de Miss Univers est dans exactement deux jours. Après avoir subi de nombreuses épreuves, les postulantes vont franchir le dimanche 16 décembre 2018, la dernière ligne droite de ce concours, durant lequel une de ces 95 jeunes femmes sera sacrée Miss Univers 2018. Cette dernière succèdera à Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, la Miss Univers 2017 qui a représenté l’Afrique du Sud au concours. Samantha Colas qui représente Haïti cette année, se dit être prête pour affronter cette dernière étape.

Depuis sa victoire à Miss Haïti, Samantha n’a pas cessé de susciter des commentaires quant à sa participation au concours, ou encore la représentation qu’elle fera d’Haïti. Après sa participation à Miss Globalcity en Chine au mois d’octobre dernier, la jeune fille de 26 ans représente à présent fièrement son pays en Thaïlande au concours Miss Univers. La successeuse de Cassandra Chéry, loin de se laisser atteindre par les nombreuses remarques déplaisantes faites à son endroit, fait bonne figure et porte bien haut l’étendard de sa patrie au pays organisateur du concours.

Licenciée en Communication à la Faculté des Lettres et Des Sciences Humaines de l’UNDH, Samantha Colas est l’animatrice d’une émission pour enfants depuis maintenant dix ans. Il s’agit bien de Soleil d’été. Admirée depuis sa tendre enfance par l’ancien directeur de la radio-télé Soleil Mgr. Désinor Jean, elle a fait ses débuts dans le monde médiatique sur les ondes de cette radio avec l’émission « Dimanche Louange ». On entendait parfois aussi sa voix à l’émission « Pawòl timoun, pawòl pou timoun » animée chaque samedi sur le 105.7 FM.

C’est avec entrain qu’on voit la jeune fille prendre part aux diverses activités préliminaires à la finale de Miss Univers. Elle se fait des amies, s’amuse à fond sans perdre de vue ses objectifs, ni la couronne d’ailleurs. La représentante d’Haïti a récemment été vue et appréciée dans son costume national, tout ensoleillée, brillant de mille feux dans son accoutrement. Pour les préliminaires qui ont eu lieu le mercredi 13 décembre, Samantha a donné le coup de grâce à ses compatriotes. Plus ne s’attendait pas à sa performance. Que ce soit dans sa présentation, et le défilé en bikini où elle portait un joli deux pièces bleu, la jeune fille s’est surpassée.

16 décembre 2018 : le jour J. L’instant fatidique. 5 postulantes par continents seront choisies pour le top 20. L’Asie et l’Afrique n’en font qu’un. Samantha qui est actuellement en pleine répétition pour le 16, s’est jusqu’à présent bien débattue. Restons positifs pour la suite.
