Val D’or Apparel is a highly respected, full-package manufacturer of both branded and private label clothing.  Since 2006, at its inception, the company owned  and operated Sterling Apparel MFG, Jordan. In 2015, Val D’or  expanded its operation by opening a new 105,000 sq. ft State of the Art facility in Haiti.

Val D’or Haiti is recognized as a full- service provider of high quality garments and services several  National Brands as well as all facets of the U.S. retail system including Specialty, Mass Market and all levels of Retail. The company specializes in the manufacturing of Men’s and Ladies Performance Apparel,  including Active Wear,  Compression Wear and Baselayer underwear.  Currently ValD’or Haiti employs approximately 1500  people.

Our process began  by recruiting top management from Sterling Apparel Jordan- including our Director of Accounts and Operations Manager, to duplicate the best practices in Haiti.  We work  closely  with each customer on product development, sampling and costing.  This is followed by the sourcing and efficient bulk purchasing of raw materials and continues in the cutting, sewing, attribution, QA, packaging and shipping of production garments. Through the continual refinement of our operational processes, we have developed a keen understanding of the requirements necessary to execute full-package garment manufacturing at the highest quality levels.

Val D’or Apparel (est. 2006)  embarked on a strategy of building on its core manufacturing competencies in order to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.

In 2014,  the company exited from manufacturing in Jordan  and aligned its sales and manufacturing strategy to maximize the duty-free benefits out of Haiti.   The resulting business model, centers on the manufacturing of both basic and value-added, high-duty garments, assembled from circular and warp knitted fabrics.

With highly respected and knowledgeable top management relocated to Haiti,  Best Practices Duplicated for highest QA levels, A brand new State of Art Facility,   A focus on Flat lock operations & a  training school on site,  A set up strategy involving Better Work Haiti and FLA  to ensure the highest level of  Social Compliance ,  Val D’or has been   elevated  to the forefront of low-cost, high-quality apparel manufacturing.

Val D’or Apparel is headquartered in Coconut Creek, Florida, from where its senior management, sales and accounting personnel operate.

The company is an active participant in the apparel national trade associations in  the United States  Val D’or’s president is a Director on the Board of the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) In addition,  ValD’or Haiti is working closely with Better Work Haiti and FLA  and has earned the reputation of being the “Go To” factory in Haiti.

Fabric Sourcing and General Merchandising

We are skilled at developing and sourcing various types of fabrics and fabric technologies with any one of the numerous textile resources throughout the world with whom we have enjoyed long-standing relationships. We take pride in our ability to resource warp and circular synthetic knits which comprise the majority of the fabrics we utilize in the garment manufacturing process. In addition to fabrications, we also routinely develop and source all types of sewing trims, including elastics and labels, as well as retail packaging components from reputable suppliers across  Asia.

Costing and Sampling

Val D’or Apparel Haiti  has a fully integrated PLM system  and dedicated costing and sampling department. The garment-costing process begins upon receipt of a garment specification sheet and bill of materials. Sample turnaround is dependent on availability of materials.

Account Management and Customer Service

Each customer is provided with a main contact  who is responsible for ensuring a seamless flow of communication among the customer and the various functional areas of responsibility at the manufacturing facility. Customer service is reinforced and supported by our senior staff in Coconut Creek, Florida, who operate on Eastern Standard Time. By supporting our customers from both Haiti and the United States, we are able to consistently provide the highest level of customer service possible while operating within an international business environment. We understand that in today’s apparel business environment, time is of the essence and accurate information is the best information.

Import/Export, Logistics:

We are fully equipped to handle air and sea logistics of all outbound/inbound freight from/to most major international locations. All freight is accompanied by the proper documentation necessary for swift customs clearance.
